I too am unfamiliar with this event and cannot get the links to work. The union flag favicon makes me suspicious, but the name is redolent of MLK and the US civil rights movement.

Yeh this wasn't a million march but a million people do, even so it was something of a disappointment

The only large demo which made an effort to actually count its numbers that I recall was the big cuntryside alliance march. No one knows if the 15/2/03 march was 1 million or 2 million. Even on that vast demo the cops made some ludicrously low guess

Their trouble is that, even if they had 10k out there counting, that's still only goes up to 100k fingers.
