He was great in Blackstuff. Weren't he the one that found a fiver down the back of the settee and went off and bought chips and whiskey with it.

Yep he was . utterly gobsmacking series when watched years later.

I thought he was excellent in 2012's Good Cop as the protagonist's ailing father. It was a part that was not over-written, and gave Angelis scope to work with nuance. It was a shame the show wasn't recommissioned, because I wanted to know more about Robert Rocksavage, his relationship with his son, and how he came to this point.
