this is actually good news, imo...regardless what the film will turn out to be like, i bet it'd be extremely interesting...perhaps even enjoyable! 
i previously had some very strange opinions of the man, given my dislike for his music and um, "showmanship"...which i saw as a joke and too commercial, "ooh, look at me- how bad i am!"-pointless shock tactics shtick...
but then i saw some interviews with him, read some stuff that he'd written- and changed my mind. he seemed a very sound, opinionated, sympathetic bloke. regardless of what i think of his music, all respect to him.
