Lunch should have its own thread

Some kind of roasted cauliflower & pepper thing with grape salsa. My hand in it involves only the chopping of cauliflower so I'm not yet sure what the end result will look like but it sounds promising. I'm hungry already.

A portion of the marrow lasagne I made the other day. Yum. It was a slight variation on my usual recipe, using up stuff I happened to have in.
It had the usual layer of lentil ragu, instead of the usual spinach layer I made a marrow, leek and kale layer. And made a super simple white sauce out of greek yoghurt with vegetable stock stirred in and some cheese melted in. Worked really well.

Been really unprepared today. I could go to the canteen and get curry, but their curry is pretty average. But the other option is donner kebab flavour pot noodle that I have in my desk draw for emergencies.

Big portion of veggie stir-fry with added cashew nuts. Had it with ready-to-wok noodles which I am usually too stingy to buy, but they are so lovely and slithery!

I had a couple of croissants (from a supermarket pack) warmed up in the microwave.
It has occurred to me that I perhaps should have stuck a couple of squares of chocolate into the middle of each before warming them, but it was too late when I thought of it.

Ooo now there's a good idea!

I'll be on toasted slab of seedy wholemeal, with a tin of sardines in oil, plenty of black pepper, and possibly a splash of hot sauce ont side.

Banana and a pear.

Pork Goulash and chips from the canteen. Had add liberal amounts of the chilli sauce I keep on my desk to make it taste of something.

I should really stop being so lazy and bring lunch more often.
