Good afternoon all,

I'm saddened to have to say that another year of ska festival debt is taking it's toll once again. Those of you who know me will know I find it very hard to write this sort of email. I do work tirelessly to keep the festival going but every now and then the historic debts get to much to cope with. We’ve got through far worse so it won’t take much to get through these issues. So, if you can afford to and would like to support the festival then you can help in any of these three ways;

01. Buying a wristband ticket for LISF2020, which gets you into all 4 days of the festival (9-12 April)
You get to see some true legends & sensational new artists including Big Youth, The Pioneers, Dennis Alcapone, Susan Cadogan, Althea & Donna, Christopher Ellis, Hollie Cook, Roddy Radiation from The Specials, The Kubricks, Freddie Notes, and loads more. See all the acts currently booked on the flier at the bottom of this email. If you’re looking for a Christmas present for your ska loving loved ones then look no further!

Just checked the website to see how things were looking...the festival has been up against it for a time and so was worried for its future.

Front page has this
================================
As many of you know The London Intl Ska Festival has faced huge debts since 2011. With the support of many people I have managed to chip away at the debts and keep the festival going. I truly believe The London Intl Ska Festival is an unique and special event that not only celebrates and champions ska, reggae, rocksteady, 2 Tone, dub and more, but brings people together from all over the globe. I believe that in this day and age people coming together is vital. And that is the thing that keeps me doing it.

The postponement of The London Intl Ska Festival 2020 to August 2020, due to the corona virus, is a massive set back, with many of the costs already spent unreoupable.

Some supporters of the festival have emailed to ask if they can donate any money to help at this time, so we have set up a a donation link here.

If you would like to donate any money to The London Intl Ska Festival to help ensure the festival survival in these current times you can by clicking HERE. Any amount will help so thank you very much in advance!

========================

August still a massive gamble IMO, but fingers crossed for the future whatever happens
