London airport travel questions

I will be in London next weekend for the first time and flying home to Glasgow on Sunday evening.
I can get a flight from either Luton or Stansted for the same price at 8:55 PM. I intend to leave for the airport from either Westminster or somewhere along DLR (not sure what stop though)

What airport is easiest/cheapest to get to?
How long will it take?

ETA: by public transport

stansted express, from liverpool street station, i think it's about £15 one way, takes about 45 minutes, i think you can get a thameslink train from kings cross thameslink (not the main station) maybe about an hour to luton, then a bus to the airport, not sure of the cost of that one

Why are you asking a bunch of eco-warriors about internal UK flights?

Take the train or coach or hitch-hike and save the planet.

:D

Problem solved - flying home on Monday afternoon so I can travel out to Stansted at my leasure.

Train to Glasgow would have been my preferd option but it is too pricey :p

not sure about that, how much is the flight, when you add travel to the airport, plus travel from glasgow airport, it might not make that much difference. We got a train up to glasgow about a week or so ago, for £65 return

If you're going to be near Westminster, then why not just go from Victoria instead. Get on Victoria Line all the way to Tottenham Hale then change to Stansted Express
