Usually that results in the Greens forming a ‘rainbow alliance’ with Tory/lib dem vermin, then all those green ‘progressives’ end up feeling like a right bunch of chumps for having voted for them. Happened countless times yet people still fall for their leftish veneer. Punishing austerity but with an extra recycling bin.Over in East Sussex, Labour has lost 3 seats to the Greens in Hastings, losing overall control.
Having said all that it was a whopping (wapping) win. So even with some dodgy stuff (alleged) then I think he would have won.
When we realised I couldn't vote, I was trying to say to my daughter to ask the poll workers if she wasn't sure how to fill it in (I wasn't even trying to instruct her myself), and three poll workers came and moved very close as if they were about to physically eject me before I could even get the sentence out. But a couple of dozen Aspire supporters blocking the entrance and path, oh, that's fine.
Not necessarily, given that he also had a huge win when he was committing fraud before.
Couple of dozen? Crikey.
Fair point. And even 1 dodgy vote is 1 too many.
I don’t know what to make of it all yet.

Pundits were saying anything north of -400 would be considered a disaster by Tory MPs.
It's a shocking story. I bet there are some investigative journalists somewhere who'd be interested in finding out whether your experience is - er - entirely unique. At someone else's suggestion I've made a report to 101 about the supporters blocking the footpath and entrance and the police officer taking no action. Doubt very much anything will happen, but I'm pissed off and want to do something.

My ex experienced the exact same thing the last time (I think) Rahman stood. There were police at the polling station who weren't interested then either. It's a shocking story. I've already had a call back from a police officer who at least sounded concerned, and said they'd check which officer it was (I know the exact time we were there, which helps) and speak to him. But it's a bit late now, isn't it.
You were right to think nothing about it originally. Presumably, the man made an honest mistake and the official pointed out his error. The woman in the cubicle next to me was there with two excited kids.Interesting.
There was a couple just ahead of me where the man tried to accompany his wife into the booth. He was stopped by one of the staff who explained that she could explain what to do for her (or something like that, I wasn’t paying too much attention.). I thought nothing of it at the time.
<snip>
Much of the alleged behaviour that concerned him had to do with groups of campaigners who were being too persuasive with voters.
“As people get close to the polling station, sometimes it's obvious that they're going to vote and then people will congregate around with them,” he said, “they will try and get them to vote for candidate x or y. I saw that just on my bicycle on the a way here; someone was standing around the corner from [the station speaking] to this lady [and] obviously telling her where to put a vote. That's not illegal, but the issue will be; is the behaviour of the people concerned friendly? Is it approachable? If it is, that's fine. But if it's a bit intimidating, then then it's not fine.”
Wood pointed out that what constitutes “intimidation” is subjective and varies from person to person. However, he claimed he had been contacted by some voters telling him they were scared to vote in the past.
I'm either pissed or that is upside down.
How did the Lib Dems do it? They’re like zombies or something. How did they come back again?
Where is this total? Guardian has -397 and I couldn't even see a count on the BBC News site. Am I blind?Update again -

Even Adam Boulton on TalkTV's 'The News Desk' is saying this is so much worst for the Tories than was thought from the overnight results.
That iditol Isabel Oakeshott disagrees with Boulton, and thinks Johnson will be more than happy with the results.
