Let Shakin Stevens take you on a tour of Ely and his Cardiff haunts

He's back in the charts!

Shakin’ Stevens has returned to the Official UK Album Chart Top 10 with the BMG released ‘Singled Out’, his first Top 10 entry since 2005’s ‘The Collection’. A new entry at number 10, the 54 track, 3CD/ 2LP collection is the first ever to include all of Shaky's solo singles.

Having looked at the top 20 albums this week - all but three of them seem to be aimed at the over 40s.

I'm not sure being in the top 10 equals hip anymore.

I saw Shakin Stevens and the Sunsets before he became famous, cracking Rock n Roll band, pure, raw and loud. Must have been early 75ish.

I used to work with one of his brothers. I don't think they got on very well and he would get pissed off if his brother was mentioned
