Just watched interview with Steve Lake on Way Out Radio (youtube): Apparently Julian Cope reckons Can't Cheat Your Karma was the best 'post punk' record ever written!

I only know Can't Cheat Karma, but what a tune that is.

Latest stuff by Zounds sounds pretty good; managed to hold on to their original sound and give it contemporary stylie. The trumpet and backing vocals; significantly female give it a sort of Chumba; Anthem influence.
