As for Max Romeo, most of those tunes Ringo mentioned are on the War In A Babylon album, which is one of my favourite ever reggae albums - well worth getting.You'll know a few Max Romeo tunes even if you don't know you do - he did Chase The Devil (sampled by Prodigy), One Step Forward, War In A Babylon, Wet Dream etc.
Wet Dream was banned by the BBC for its lewd lyrics ("lie down gal let me push it up, push it up, lie down" !) Max Romeo tried to claim 'Wet Dream' was about having a leak in his roof and getting wet in the night, but the lyrics rather gave it away - "give the fanny to me"
