EXPLODED TIM! (Help me!!!)
I am trying to read and watch lots of Shakespeare as one of my Iockdowned and furloughed projects and came across this production of Richard II.
It was performed at the Wannamaker Theatre which is the indoor theatre at the Globe. I've also watched the David Tennant interpretation, that is available on Britbox and its interesting to compare the two productions. The fact that this production is all female and overtly multicultural which has clearly been picked up by the far-Right who are spewing bile over the comments section: there are lots of cunts out there. It currently has 492 thumbs-up and 1.7K thumbs-down; there are things I like and things that irritate me in the performance, although the latter relate to the fact that it is designed for a three-dimensional space and at times doesn't translate well to the two-dimensional reality of film.
