Took them 2 years to get around to re-assessing me, time before last I was put in the dreaded Work-Related group then moved to Support Group with only a form, a year before that was thrown oiff entirely due to ATO$ tricking me and lying about me - and subsequently losing at appeal/tribunal. Been a long, long hard road.
Surprisingly I only provided a 2 year old G.P's sick-note as "medical evidence". Think they had a report from my doctor they obtain themselves too.
Pains me to say this - some may have another experience but I do think the new provider "Maximus" cleverly dressed up for damage limitation are actually doing things differently in terms of the Work Capability Assessment.
The staff seem more friendly at least in Leeds, genuine and the questions are nearly all about your actually health condition instead of your lifestyle. UI still don't trust the fuckers but I'd say they are at least 105 better than Atos were.
