Italian Partisans

Any good books on this. Got loads on the French resistance, but little on the Italians (and whilst I've put partisans in the title, I'm more than happy for recommendations on Italian resistance to fascism from 1922 onwards etc).

Is this any good?

I have, will prob have to wait til tmw.Tom Behan was great writer -someone who totally got Italian politics,and Italiana communism in particular.

Giovanni Pesci's book 'Soldiers without uniform' is apparently a good read. He was the head of the ANPI the Partisans Association.

There was a film about them made in 1970 or so but it seems to be very difficult to locate.
