Instagram hacked

My instagram was hacked a few days ago and I'm unable to get back in. They seem to have set up 2 factor authentification so when I try to log on it sends a code via an 'authentification app' which I haven't installed

There doesn't seem to be any way to speak to an actual person.

And given the hacker set up the 2 factor authentication I don't know how to get the code to let me back in.

Hey I spoke to the person i thought got hacked but they said they actually just had issues with someone trying to reset their password. Not much help sorry!

I fear if everyone reports your account you'll just get shut down? There is no option I can see to report a hacked account

Might be a good time to change any similar passwords if you have them! And set up 2 step verification for anything that you can?

Warn subscribers if you can via another platform?

The hacker seems to have set up 2 factor authentication themselves, meaning I can't get back into the account at all

Could you download the authentication app and then reset by getting it to send you a password reset link?
