Info about prospective employer

rennie

m'enfin!
I've just seen a job advertised working for De Havilland... which calls itself the UK’s most comprehensive political, governmental and broadcast news monitoring service.

Their website is very low on info about them n what it is they exactly do. A search on google came up with an airplane manufacturer.

How on earth am I supposed to find out more about them to see if i'd be interested in applying for a position there?

do you think they'll give one out to a prospective applicant? it's worth a try I suppose... i'll email them!

umm...this is deviouas but worth it. ring them (NOT from your phone) and pretend to be an academic researcher, and grill them

If you could get a shot of their politics database, that might be worth doing, then you can see the types of information they use and the format they post in. Plus it shows you've done your homework.

You were right about their website being a bit light on info though - barely anything there!
