Hardly surprising. FFP was supposed to fight this influx of oligarch/sheik money, but as it was seen with PSG, all it takes is some creative accounting or bogus sponsorships (like Barcelona and Intel), and they're back in black. Instead oh helping, it could well end any hope for Smaller clubs who often gamble on signings hoping to turn a profit and can't afford phantom cash without serious book-cooking.

If the process is going to be a sham because Platini doesn't want to piss the big TV money earners, no point of even bothering.

PSG wiped out their losses with 'a huge backdated sponsorship deal'. Well that sums up financial fair play for me.

Wonder what the return on investment numbers look like for backdated sponsorship.
