I caught a cat!

Thinking about how comfy she'll be giving birth on firky's cream sofa.

She's not preggars, I sat with my hand on her stomach for a good five minutes and there's nothing kicking or squirming inside.

:hmm:

:D :D could be early days yet. When we took ours to the vet she said she wasn't pregnant after feeling her tummy up! How wrong she were. Two weeks later she started showing.

That, or plotting.

Why even bother posting to this thread, was it so I'd reply with the attention you so desperately crave? Well now you have it, I am sure it was worth it.

Ah c'mon, I was clearly messing - If I was a wanker I'd point out your history of attention seeking posts. But I'm not a twat like that. All the best to you and kitty though.

I don't like pets in the bedroom. Especially in the bed!

If other people want to allow their pets into their bedroom, fine by me, but not in my gaff. :)

Well that's ever the intention... then I take pity on them

we used to allow them in ours - but got fed up with the fleas (even though we treat them every month) and being woken up in the middle of the night by being sat on and jumped on.

So, erm... you're going to be putting her in a cat basket / box / crate come Monday? A feral farm cat? In a crate? To go to the vet's?

Oh yes, happy memories, the cat I had as a kit was a feral runt discovered under some pallets at a farm (they mistook her for a rat at first). She took some taming. :D

Not very pregnant anyway.. :p

I'm not sure it's up to you with a cat.

I'm with you on the pets don't belong in bedrooms but that started mainly coz I'm such a shite sleeper I would wake up if a cat jumped onto/off the bed :) My bedroom is also MY space.

I don't like mine in my room, but every now and then she'll scratch incessantly on the door.

She's well aware she's only allowed to use my bed to get onto my bedside table to reach the window sill though, so it's not all bad

Two cats on our bed most nights. It could be worse, it used to be two irish wolfhounds :) Dogs have been banned from our bedroom for about 8 years since the vet gave me a lecture on teaching dogs who's the boss.

Gorgeous new kitty, Firks. Have you not had one since Murphy? S/he and you will be very happy together, I'm sure. And she WILL be sleeping in your bed. You're too much of a softy.

So, to clarify: this is going to be one of those trained cats?

Or, to clarify a little bit further, this is going to be one of those trained semi-feral cats?

Aye, the first one since Murphy. I can't walk the distances I do so have had to give the dog away on permanent loan, he's quite happy anyway.

No! I am going insist on it, the cat stays out. It has the run of the house, and fields and woodland to the back of the house.

:hnm:

I'll keep the hoover in the bedroom if needs be :D
