Very childlike!! I suggest you stop using such simplistic childish logic and accept the world as it is and NOT how you would wish it to be. I would say the same to the Palestinians. They have to accept that they have been invaded, and they will if you bend over backwards and give them the land they want (and claim to deserve, even if you don't believe they deserve it!)

Your reasoning appeals to you because it justifies the actions of the Israelis, but actually the rest of the world is NOT convinced that who 'baggsied' the land first is relevant. The only people who talk about this are the Israelis. Again and Again people tell you that the world is not like that, and again and again you refer back to history as if you haven't heard.

Simply put: Unless you create peace the 1 state solution will be imposed on you.

Now you complain that you are dealing with unreasonable people, well if so you will have to compromise more, because the longer you fail to compromise, the more likely it is that the above will happen.

As you say you have a land with TWO people, and you must find a way of creating peace. That usually means having to compromise. IE. accept things you DON'T believe to be true. BUT peace will be worth it.

If it's offical policy with in isreal to refuse to deal with people or organiseations who refuse to act in a legitimate manner then this is the preceident whcih should be set. there can be no legitimacy to any person who lies through their teeth and refuses to back up their comments or statments with evidence. Indeed it can only be that given enough rope they will hang themselves.

Couldnt have put that any better myself. Rachamim has been caught out blatantly exaggerating at best-at worse bare faced lying. Ive consistently asked him for evidence to back up his statements and he has evaded providing this. There is only one thing worse than an apologist who excuses any action of his goverment regardless of the consequence of that action-and thats an apologist who makes shit up to, as you have pointed out, add 'undue weight' to his point of view.

Its truely despicable and typical of rachamim.

i'm preparred to accept that rach isn't lying if he prodcues one scrap of evidence however his continue obficssation and refuseal to do his own research added to everytime he's called on it he slinks away like he's waiting for the fire to die down before comming back to debate... just damages any credibilty he has... regardless of the potential truth in his argument...
