No gods! No masters! Another religious sexual abuse scandal, this time involving the Australian based Pentecostal Hillsong Megachurch which has churches around the world, including in the UK

(I am aware that they have a church in Guildford, Surrey).

They've now sacked Brian Houston.

But of course it's not his fault, it was the medication. The crappy statement from the church said

it was found that Pastor Brian became disoriented after a session at the Hillsong Conference, following the consumption of anti-anxiety medication beyond the prescribed dose, mixed with alcohol. This resulted in him knocking on the door of a hotel room that was not his, entering this room and spending time with the female occupant.

This completely fails to acknowledge or address his own culpability.
