Help: Recommend me an all inclusive holiday in May.

Sasaferrato

Super Refuser!
We've just been let down by Tui, the flights have been changed from Glasgow to to Manchester, which is too much hassle.

What we want is a beach holiday in the sunshine, all inclusive, in May.

Spain, Croatia etc is fine, long haul is not

Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Tui are usually quite good if you get onto them and let them know how put out you've been by this change. They may give you discount/vouchers etc.

I went to Mallorca with TUI to an all inclusive place back in 2019, and again to Corfu in 2020. Both places likely to have plenty of sun.

If you're looking at Croatia the Island of Brac is nice as is Markaska fly to Split for both. Have you thought about Bulgaria? Kos? Majorca?

Croatia would probably be one of the best options.

And Menorca is one of the best Spanish islands - if you can drive, it's especially good, but even without that, it's amazing. Tons and tons of historical sites, plus all the beaches are sandy, there are lovely restaurants and there's just a generally pleasant, relaxed feel to it.

I'd also kinda like to recommend a friend who runs a travel agency that does that sort of holiday, but I'm not sure if it's allowed. She is lovely though, and can get discounts on various things including some package deals.

Corfu. All day long in May.

Are you happy to drive? If so this place is in the mountains behind corfu town. The all inclusive is fine. Almost good bit great for the price. I’ve been three times in May the attached water park has some nice tree shaded areas to chill out in…
And you could go on a slide or too if there is no one looking…

I never ever go back to commercial places apart from here…

If you book direct with them and go Easy Jet it will be just over half the price as with Tui or similar.

Madeira is amazing (lots more I can say about this amazing island, I spent almost 6 months there last year!) id highly recommend but theres less all inclusive options. Also there arent so many resorts you can just be based in, it's more of a whole island destination and for a good reason. Tenerife would be better for that. Its also a stunning place and great value, cheaper than Madeira overall for sure.

Corfu and Menorca are both great shouts. Kefalonia too if youre tempted by Greece.

I actually think Menorca in May would be really great and also good value too. Well worth considering.

I went to Turkey in May last year - is that too far? Would recommend - it's a few weeks before the season gets properly going so the resort wasn't busy & it was 23/24 degrees which was plenty warm for me. Chilly in the evening though

Alternatively the other classic destination is probably somewhere in the Canaries like Tenerife. Stayed at the H10 adults only hotel they have in las americas last summer. Recommend, no annoying children and a really nice coffee shop/ice cream bar on site that's included in the price.
