Help me identify this tool

I'll describe it (unless a u-shaped screwdriver is what I'm really looking for)

Start off with a flat blade screw driver with the end "around" 11-12mm

Then cut out the middle 8mm'ish - leaving 2 x 1.5-2mm prongs

The bit you've cut out goes up into the blade by about 2mm

This is needed for removing a locking ring which is used to locate a plug-in power source for a frighteningly expensive colour viewer - if you look at the picture below you can "just" make out where the power recharger plug-in - that's the locking ring which I need to remove to change over the battery pack and lighting system

Some kind of security screw. '2 prong screwdriver' would have got you there.

exactly like that - but even the biggest is too small - the "screwdriver blade" needs to be 11-12mm across

If it doesn't want to get damaged, all it has to do is let go of the locking ring
