Hair product for plaiting

I wear my hair in a French plait a lot, but I get wispy bits pretty much immediately and on a windy day I look almost like my hair is loose

I need something with some hold to stop the frizzy escaping the plait, please help before I reach back into the 90s for a can of mousse!

I was going to suggest mousse tbh

A bit of re-mouldable wax might work, or a squirt of hairspray. I like salt spray/beach texture hair products because they're matt and give you a grippy, sticky texture to plait. Doesn't brush out though.

Texturising powder might work but it makes my hair quite dull.

Or hairspray - that's what my mum uses for immobile hair

tresemme freeze hold hairspray, it's as good if not better than the sick 30 quid hairspray my old hairdresser used on me

if you need the hold ultra lasting then hairdry it gently after spraying yer hair cus it sets better


dont be afraid of using quite a bit
