Dear Resident,

RE: Green Dale Fields – ground investigation surveys

The consultation that we have undertaken to date highlighted that there may be an underground water course at Green Dale Fields. As such we are keen to understand where it is located and whether it would be possible to reveal this water course and create an exciting feature in the new design. To do this we have commissioned ground investigations which will be carried out during the week commencing 11 May. The investigations will involve use of a radar and digging trial holes in various locations on the site. You may notice surveyors and machinery on site during this time. The trial holes will be resonated once the investigatory work is complete.

Should you need to discuss further please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely,

As long as we still get a football ground...crack on!

There has always been an underground water course....that's why, when it actually was a proper playing fields, up until the late Eighties, it was so prone to waterlogging.

I'm sure this can be accommodated into the Garden of Healing some in the area wanted to have on the site at one point. But what would be in B.I.G's Garden of Healing, I wonder?

I think I can answer that. A big Coke bottle, filled mostly with rum but with a little bit of Coke for colouring.
