Anyone been to this before? Going to my first this year, first festival in seven years for me. Hiring a posh bell tent with proper beds n that though doubt there'll be much sleeping done!

Hahaha, 'kinell, Baskerville Hall? It's up the road from me. It's, erm, falling to pieces, but don't let that bother you. I went to a free party there about 10 years ago when the owners obviously had no idea who they were letting the grounds out to. Hilariously, there was a wedding party there (I'm not making this up) who were outraged to have 200 ravers off their heads disturbing their peace on the night before the wedding. I seriously hope they got their money back. It was a great party. It's about 40 miles from where I live and consequently I met my nuttier students (Tipi Valley kids) who were, erm, interested, to find out 'Sir' went to free parties.

Just want a big tent and plenty of comfort. Cost quite a bit but less than a hotel. I'm no wild camper

I can see how it might annoy people, but they're just trying to ensure a balance of people, preventing dickheads from coming.
I have a friend who's involved with freerotation and has been doing it for years. I know nothing about it but my friend is a really sound bloke who loves his music so I guess I'd recommend it Orang Utan

No, his name's Les aka earthdoctor. He started it with Steevio and Suzybee, but he's no longer involved in running it, apart from a little admin. work before the festival. He's still one of the 'resident DJs' though
