Covid means that flu jabs are more important. Flu vaccine
Eligibility for a free jab is changing. Used to be that, unless you were in a high risk category (see above NHS link), you couldn't get it until you were 65. Because of Covid the qualifying age is being reduced to 50.
Delivery/availability for the 50-64 group is being staggered. People need to contact their phamacy or surgery to find out. The Pavilion Pharmacy in central Brixton is keen to get going and is offering an online service for booking an appointment Flu Vaccines | Pavilion Pharmacy. (It's a superb pharmacy - about a bazillion times better than Boots or Superdrug. It's in Piano House, 9 Brighton Terrace, SW8 8DJ.)
If you don't qualify for a free jab you can pay for it - it's about £11 at the Pavilion Pharmacy.
