New Month. Risked more then £20 last month as I had that £200 acca come in Jan, but now back to just the £20 per month betting at short odds.
£20
Liverpool to win @ 1.4
£28 back. Now backed £28 on Spurs to qualify for the next round @ 1.44
returns £40.44. £20 withdrawn back to bank to cover stake. £.20.44 profit to bet with. Will look for a decent double or treble over the weekend. Any tips??
Fuckkibg bollox
Decent comeback by Charlton
Again, more value.
After reading the West Ham thread yesterday I put a bet on the in form Hammers to beat Spurs at very generous odds of 10/3.
No more football bets for me at the moment. All eyes on Cheltenham next week
I wouldn't back a horse with Pendleton on board at any price. The definition of value.
Pacha du Polder, 3.20 Wincanton today, ridden by Victoria Pendleton.
Won. 5/4F
5/4??
Let's look at that. Consistently rated anything between 5 to 20lb better than anything in the race (at the minimum) over the last 2 years.
Pendleton unlucky, very, to be unseated on last outing.
Chauvinism, MUCH, from the male dominated racing profession.
5/4. What a laugh.
Why?I wouldn't back a horse with Pendleton on board at any price.

Because she tends to fall off them relatively easily. Why?
In her first ride under rules on the same horse she went off 8/13. And as I say she was unseated fairly easily. 5/4 was the right price last time out in my view. That's really kind of you. Because it means I can make bets at 5/4 when they should be 2/5. Thank you.
Bit there will come a point where, notwithstanding that, the odds represent value, no? Bit silly to say you wouldn't back her 'at any price.'Because she tends to fall off them relatively easily.
I noticed Millwall play the league leaders (Burton Albion) on Easter Monday, then the following Saturday the bottom team (Colchester).
In true Millwall tradition they'll play out of their skins in a Barca-esque performance to beat the league leaders, then 5 days later, get thrashed by the bottom team. It's the Millwall way.
I'm not a betting man so don't even know what kind of bet I need to look for on an online site (I'm out of the country so can't go in a betting shop and ask). Can someone be kind enough to find the odds for me: a straight Millwall win vs Burton Albion (28th March) then Millwall lose to Colchester 2nd April.
What is it? a combo, accumulator(?)) How much will it pay if I lump £20 on ?
I see your point, a reverse of the home/away aspect of the fixtures would be more representative. This shit home record vs oustanding away perfornance is definitely a recent phenomenon (since Jacketts last season?). The giant killers one week, to fiasco against the bottom team the next goes as far back as I can remenber though. In true Millwall fashion they have not lost away from home in six games. The away form is better than home so are more likely to lose to Burton and win at Colchester. Not sure the bookie will accept the bet as it's "related" to the same team.
