Flickering screen issue on Lenovo ideapad flex 5

Any idea what could be causing lines to flicker etc and this to stop (usually) when i press control alt del? i uninstalled a few programmes and this has helped but not entirely stopped it. it's done this on and off basically since i got this computer

Sounds like a manufacturing fault but you could try a hard reset.

Got rid of discord and some anti virus stuff and that improved it a bit but hasn't entirely fixed it , also know it's not an ideal solution.

Install the Lenovo Vantage tool from the Windows Store and do all the necessary updates.

If it's not and you bought it brand new it could still be worth contacting Lenovo. They may be helpful and sort it out for you if you can't do it yourself.
