Five days in Slovenia - how much can we do?

Last week my wife finally got UK residency and I finally got round to booking our honeymoon - we're going to Sicily - however, I also secretly booked us a surprise flight to Trieste and intend to visit Slovenia for 5 nights in July. As she's always wanted to visit.

I'd like to visit Bled, The capital and the coast.

Got any tips and or recommendations?

The island in lake bled has a church on it with a bell you ring to make your wish come true or something.Very pretty scenery round there but Bled itself is pretty boring. Don't be fooled by the amazing looking cakes, they're fairly tasteless.

The river at Kobarid is an amazing blue colour.

I had a lovely, if unremarkable, time in the area.

Slovenia is a comfortable and excitement place to travel,,cultured cities,architecturally grand,perfect for skiing in winter and biking in summer .If you require a visa or are travelling with an animal, make sure you have everything you need.
