I really dont expect anyone to get this, but here goes anyway.
I remember a film from a kid, late 60s early 70s, about a kid who's dad was in the USAF. For the kid's birthday he brings home some weather balloons and ties them to a chair to give the kids rides in the backyard. The inevitable happens, but the chair breaks free, with child aboard. Kid and chair drift away and are chased by helicopters etc.
It used to be on all the time, but I've tried to find it by keyword on imdb without any luck. I know Urban wont let me down!!
