I expect google takes an average. It wouldn't take me that long to walk down from Holmewood Gdns but it would take my mother longer than me, and probably some others would be quicker and others even slower. I always look at the TFL walking times as being generous too.

I think you should consider the 50km walk discipline in the Rio Olympics. You must be in with a chance!

Although I mentioned Villa Road some pages ago I think Brixton Road is a strong contender. Whenever I go away somewhere for a few days (which is rare) I always factor in a cab ride home from the station because I'm knackered, have luggage etc and I always get a nice feeling when the cab gets onto the Brixton Road because I'm minutes away from a cup of tea and kicking my shoes off and settling myself at the kitchen table.
