FA Cup 2024/25

Great Lincoln fourth goal. Young player running through just the goalkeeper to beat to get his first ever goal and twat of a defender pushes him in the back. He falls over, kicks the ball against the goalkeeper's leg and it bounces back against the defender and so into the goal so the twat has an own goal against his name :D

Walsall away, fuck yeah!

After some of the excitement of the first round it is a deflatingly boring draw for the second. The gallant lowly non-leaguers (Harborough and Gainsborough Trinity) have got guff difficult away ties. That Burton v Tamworth is probably tie of the round tells you how uninspiring the rest of the draw is. A pity.

For some reason when I was a teenager I walked into Burton, possibly having hitched. All I remember are the breweries. You'd hope people would want to be friendly to them.

Burton and Tamworth....think not. All the smallers breweries have been merged in to one large brewery.

Dooley looks well dazed and bloody walking off. I seem to remember if the player was off the pitch receiving treatment the game continued?

Wealdstone v Wycombe next up this morning, early start 10:40 with kickoff 11:30 on ITV1.

Hopefully we'll avoid the very possible banana skin but you never know. We've been unbelievable in League One this season, it's going to be hard to maintain it though, I'd be happy to win this one then get a Premier League side away to really test ourselves in the 3rd round.

Will Kodua and Potts be playing? I'll watch it if they are.

Hope this legend makes an appearance...

Dang, that is an early kickoff.

Crosspost: what is it about the BBC HYS that attracts all the Joey Bartons? Fara Williams was doing punditry on Gainsborough v Harrogate and a whole load of comments on the Gainsborough match were crying about 'wokism' and 'why do we have a WOMAN doing punditry, why can't bitches stick to their own game'. Why does it matter. Why are male football fans like this. Why can you not just be normal about us for five fucking minutes. Why can so many of you not accept that women have as much right to watch and enjoy football as you do. 'Oh but it's a different gaaaaaame'. Fuck off. NOBODY complains when men commentate on women's football but when it's the other way round, men go mental over it. Also, men do do punditry and commentary on women's games. It's not women only. Stop lying.

And for the people whining about the quality of the game, what do you expect. Two bottom feeder sides playing each other is not going to be El Clásico. Harrogate are in League 2 and Gainsborough Trinity are non-league, and managed by two ex-Scunthorpe men, one of whom is an ageing goalkeeper with a hip replacement. Do not expect glamour.

I need to stop reading HYS, it makes me a misandrist. So many men being FORCED to watch women's games and being upset about it.
