F1 2018

Sorry for the lack of news over the last week but I was taking my Captains license :) I'm now Captain 1%er LOL Not sure I'll ever use it but we were thinking of going sailing maybe when our youngest goes off to university and you need a license here and many other places to run a boat.

Anyway a couple of things, just because you can't watch Formula 1 direct to your TV you can catch all the races free over the internet and you don't even have to watch them on Sky, there are loads of sites that have free F1 coverage and of course you can link your computer to your TV.

I agree with those above who said what a fantastic lap Lewis put in yesterday in qualifying, it was inspiring :) This could be an interesting race from a strategy point of view, so I wonder if we will see a hyper, ultra, ultra 2 stop by some teams. There has been a safety car at every race here so I expect one today, if a team times it right 2 stops could be the way to go.

Just remember the rules regarding hysterical people and boats

and you should be fine

forgotten this race was on c4 this weekend :)

ponders if vettel is going to over cook it like last year

Lewis on the soft tyre, didn't see that coming could make the end of the race close, I think Vettel will stop again

If you're chartering you'll need RYA Day Skipper minimum. If your own boat you can just get on and sail without any paperwork, insurance etc at all, but I'd strongly recommend getting some training :)

Thanks. I've been watching Saving Lives at Sea. I'd not go near the fucker without training or someone who is trained. :D
