I've been asked to go back to Japan after all, so if I do accept it looks like I won't be able to make Endorse It this year and I'll have some Shambala tickets to sell too.. :(

No room for negotiating a more suitable departure date?

I agree they're totally shit on most possible levels ...

But I didn't tell them this though :D when I was camping next to their van and sharing their fire with them the other week. They're really nice and friendly ...

remember this isn't the full line-up - there are lots of other bands on that we just couldn't fit on the pages!!
Also this year each tent will have its own bar selling a fine selection of ales, cider etc etc

What's so bad about them? I checked out the website, and I must admit that Celtic Funk Folk fusion didn't really grab me :D but they didn't make me angry.

Will there be more cider this year? We drunk you dry of Old Rosie in about 4 hours last year :D

Also - any Perry being served? That stuff is rocket fuel.

sparklefish has purchased tickets- just me and madamv.:D the boys are staying home alone.

This is going to be such a good summer, I can feel it in me bones.

Tarantism, my aversion is a bit weird cos in general I'm not averse to folky alternative-type festie music or even hippy wibble :D .

I just don't like THEM -- and can't put my finger on exactly why** --heard em too often at too many festies, perhaps. They seem unavoidable at certain types of event ....

**Because they're shit' works for me :p I guess, but it's not an explanation, just a reaction ..

I don't go to festis for the bands really... I just like the people, the atmosphere and being able to have a dance at any point in the day or night that I so choose..

They played at least 6 times at Sunrise over the weekend...

Under 10's tickets are now sold out!!!!
We kept them on sale a little longer with the advent of the new website, but they are now well and truly gone and no more will be released.
All other tickets are still available, but if you're wanting kids or family tickets please buy soon to avoid disappointment.

Yeah I just go for the atmosphere. The bands are just something that seems to go on in the background.

I've never heard 'em but their website's got a link to the place I stay in Goa. This isn't a good sign - the live music you hear there is, without a doubt, the worst on the fucking planet.

There's a twice-weekly jam session at this place called Loeki's that could inspire the Dalai Lama to commit genocide, I swear it.

I once witnessed a 14 minute jam based around a Hindu mantra with crystal-waving and juggling accompaniment. I survived but I almost wish I hadn't. :(

(Crosses off NVP from the U75 Endorse It Crystal Reiki Juggling Workshop)

I've seen crystal-waving.

Where they get those fucking spheres and like roll them around their fucking hands (woo fucking woo) and you're meant to be dead impressed but you're not so they roll them around a bit more (woo fucking woo again) and then you attack them with a lump of nearby tree and batter and batter until the splinters and bloody pulp make a pleasing souffle.

You know the one I mean?

hi, so when and how are people getting there? it is trainstation salisbury isn't it.

what time train etc?

(remembers that she still has to borrow camping gear as well!)

Salisbury is where you need to head for. This is 16 miles East of the Festival site.

Check stuff out nearer the time, Choc, and if you want we could get the same one on the Friday morning from Waterloo (they're quite frequent). I have a discount card valid for guest-travellers :)

Buses from Salisbury to just outside the site have never been a problem for me when festographising in the area last year, and in previous years ... :)
