Idaho's official Endorse It Weather Forecast
The festival will be generally dry. There might be the odd shower, but you will either be in a tent, at the bar, asleep or too twatted to care. There will also be a few moments where you can sit down on the ground if you bring a plastic bag with you to sit on. By the time you get there you won't care too much as the odd bit of water in the sky won't make the ground that wet. Chalky, flinty downland drains very quickly and after a week of sun the chance of mud is set at less than 10%.
Dubversion said:i know it doesn't look great, but it's not going to be a mudbath whatever happens. Last year was pretty grey all weekend and everyone had a fantastic time, so i think we should all quit fretting..

so do you urban lot have some form of meet then? it'd be good to come and poke william again (in an ecumenical sense obviously)
William of Walworth said:Thing is, I wasn't especially, because the outlook yesterday (that post was the links was an effort to be positive FFS!!!) was so good and still remains quite good ...
I know I do fret at times, but not this time, really ...
subject to tomorrow's updates
I hope there's space!Balbi said:That 14:30 bus from Salisbury is probably going to be most amusing
Probably because you were suggesting people stopped fretting and William was fretting the most.Dubversion said:why did you assume my post was directed at you?

Check bus's earlier answer for why some at least of us very frequent festie goers have a quite understandable preference for dry and nice, after what we've endured so far this season
