This is my least favourite song off all time. I know this is my personal view but growing up in the late 70's early 80's it always pissed me off at parties when I heard the opening lines. Heard at Knebworth when they were supporting the the Stones too

RIP but an over rated and over long song. Still he is free as a bird now.

That is your opinion but percy I think it is one of the most over rated songs of all time. I can understand why he quit. Mind you I doubt that was the reason.

That's okay - He quit because he was exhausted from the touring schedule. His replacement snuffed it in the air crash. He rejoined in the 80s..
