Thank you Duncan for using the draft of the joint Dulwich Hamlet Football Club Committee & Dulwich Hamlet Supporters' Trust press release I sent to you, and smartening it up, before circulating it to your contacts. Much appreciated.

There are posters up in the bar, Tony (Man. City) steward has some A4 flyers. I will have some more (A3, A4, A5) with me when I come from work, after the match.

Players are there to play football!

For the rest of the stuff...bring what you like.

I can save it as a pdf and send it if you like...?

Just been chatting with a Detroit City FC* fan who is planning to give this match a shout-out in an "audio essay" about LBGT fan groups. Told me DCFC got a huge turn out to their own similarly themed match.

* = whose scarves influenced the most recent Dulwich one.

Mishi sent it to me so you're ok thanks. It's going out in their newsletter this week. I might contact some more uni Lgbt societies tonight if nobody has done that yet? Goldsmith's and King's at least.

this match could be 600 plus I reckon

It's hard to say. Even with the crowd being well over 1000 the last few Saturday games mid-week matches are still a lot lower and this is just a friendly. That said I'm seeing a lot of people on Facebook who don't normally go who are coming to this game so who knows really. 600 would be good I think.

Dont want to jinx it but could be a fairly Large crowd, we had over 800 for Margate on a Tuesday night. Also the next 2 games are away so for people who don't usually travel but want an extra fix they may well come down even if it is a friendly. Also its not really like a normal friendly is it..... also know a fair few non dulwich fans coming, as well as non football fans.... not to mention if stonewall bring a few which i reckon they will...

I've got a feeling this game is gonna smash the 600 attendance mark. As has been said, it's almost impossible to gauge the crowd we can expect because nothing like it has really happened before.

On another note, it'll be interesting to see what sort of side Gavin puts out for this one.

Gavin has never intended to play the First Team! Hence the cheaper admission prices. It's a Club XI fixture. There would be far too much of a gap, if we played the full First Team, it's not about that, and a 'cricket score' would not reflect well on the Club. But having said that, Gavin has been extremely supportive of the game from the start, hats off to him for that!

have ever watched stonewall fc ?

I was working the time they had an early kick off, when they were chosen as a Middlesex County League 'groundhop' match. But I did see them, quite a few years ago, when they won the Middlesex League Cup Final, at the old Yeading FC, on an end of season Saturday evening kick-off in May. Can't recall what year, but you could say I was a 'closet Stonewall fan' for the night! ;)
