Interesting bit of team politics tonight when Hamlet were awarded a pen with Nana Owusu and Dan Smith both on 2 goals. Dan had already missed one pen, Nana was keen for the hat-trick chance but Ming seemed to be the decision maker and handed the ball to Akanbi.

Quade Taylor was captain tonight but didn't see him getting involved in this bit.

I guess he thought they both had their chances for a hat-trick and hadn't taken them - especially Dan, that was a terribly weak pen. Akanbi showed them how to do it though. Not one ball out of the ground all evening...

2 wins in 4 days for the new gaffer, and between those fixtures he's seen most of the squad in competitive action.

Will be interesting to see the side he picks for Saturday. Grainger back in goal a must, but there is strong competition for most other starting spots.

I think it was a great save. He dived to his right but then used his leg to save the kick!
