Just googled it........

Absolute Misery was created in late 2003 as an outlet for utterly slow, low end drone, which did not always fit into DarkDread's other projects. The idea originally stemmed during some ambient/drone experimentation under the Alone in Silence name. Indeed, the first release--Forever Rotting...--saw its birth under the aformentioned project name.

There aren't really any influences which shape the Absolute Misery sound, which is, itself, comparable to the likes of Sunn o))), Pelican, and other drone doom, albeit, with much more ambient passages thrown in. Perhaps, a more apt comparison, would be a slower, minimalist, version of Until Death Overtakes Me, but without any vocals. Certainly not easily accessible music.
:D  :D

so do you snort it or what?

I think you actually have to notify a mod, rather than just post on the thread.

Too late... it'll never be moved. start another and just let this one take the route of all others.

btw Onket... tis supposed to go up your hole, not in your eye.

Sun 0))) and EArth are famous. I also have a great cd by a band called The Goslings, you can search them on myspace, I think they're better than both those bands it is pretty incredible stuff.

Has anyone heard that Boris/Merzbow collaboration? I can seem to find it anywhere.

I've not heard that one (-I'm not a fan of Merzbow).

I do like the way you never quite know what the next Boris album will sound like, and how they're always trying to push things that bit further in whichever direction they've chosen, too. And how prolific and collaborative they are.

What I've heard of the latest (?) album with Michio Kurihara reminded me of Can, but Boris chop and change styles so much that it's hard to guess what the rest of the album might be like!

Yeah thats what I meant. I tried to explain that I listened to quite alot of metal now: he looked shocke to say the least. Amslseeking now, ta.
