She was great , had the first two albums and saw her a few times. 'Take it for granted' was good as well Think she ended up doing Edith Piaf covers

Of course she did, because everything sounds better in French, even reading from the telephone directory, not that there are any nowadays. Is Carmel the singer of a song I heard in the 70s and can't now remember? I am aware that this is an unanswerable question.

according to wikipedia, the band was active from 1981, so probably not.

No, wait, it was the early 80s that I heard whatever it is I am remembering or misremembering, but for whatever reason I assumed it was earlier. Just ignore my babbling, nothing to see here.

Used to really like her back in the day. IIRC her biggest singles were Bad Day and this one (great song, terrible visual and audio quality!).
