Do I need to report accident on one car to insurers of all cars?

OK so apologies in advance as probably rather noddy question but not been driving long and I can't find the answer online despite trying.

I had an accident a few months ago with Car A - the insurer of that car was notified.

We have a different car (Car B) insured with a different insurer. I didn't report the accident with Car A to the insurers of Car B.

Do I need to do that, or is it only the insurers of the car that is in an accident who need to know?

You should report any accident to every insurer you have a policy with otherwise if they find out they can declare the policy as invalid.

I think probably yes - if you had to declare any accidents when taking out insurance for car B.

You may also need to declare accidents in your private car to your employer if you drive employer's vehicles on their insurance.
