DHFC vs Ebbsfleet Utd 4th December 2021

Who's up for a playoff 6 pointer?
Love a top of the table clash! Just seen these on facebook…

1.
At our home game this afternoon, we are collecting donations for Albrighton Centre Community Fridge.

There will be donation drop off points outside the ground by the turnstiles.

Thank you in advance for your generosity!

#DHFC 💖💙

2.
Today at our home game we are also raising money for King’s College Hospital. There will be a bucket collection at the end of the game to buy toys for children staying in King’s over Christmas.

No spare change?

Don’t worry - we’ve also set up a Just Giving page to support our local hospital this festive season:

Unbelievable stuff. Amazing what happens when players arent playing in constant fear of getting replaced next match.

Think there could be a huge away rabble next week

Great performance. Fair play for them to come back like that against one of the strongest teams in the league. If this was a few years ago, we would've lost that. Glad to see how well the team deals with the pressure

truly brilliant Hamlet in the second half

and credit to Grainger in the first

great entertaining game

another sell out - good 200 Fleet fans - in good form to be fair

I agree with the value of continuity, particularly when they’re all doing well. Some shaky defending which cost us but such skill going forward. The work Timlin gets through is amazing.

Dulwich Hamlet 5 Ebbsfleet 2
One of the best league games I've seen at Champion Hill in 25 years. In form Ebbsfleet led 1-2 at half time but Dulwich were on fire in the second half scoring 4 goals.

I spoke to Jack Holland after the final whistle and he said the players were inspired by the noise from the crowd. What a nice guy. I can see why he is our captain.

Fleet's match report

Terrific game and another “never say die” attitude from the team saw us win comfortably in the end.

Jordan Greens goal was one of the best i’ve seen at Champion Hill. He managed to control a high, fast pass, take it down towards goal, turn two defenders and move slightly away from the goal before striking it into the furthest corner of the net. It was a goal out of nothing and saw us draw level. Very Allassani-esque.

Grainger with another man of the match performance. I was stood at the toilets opposite so had a great view of both saves in either half.

Gio is exceptional and playing well above National South level. For that final goal he cut through the Ebbsfleet midfield and then played a superb through ball for Sealy.

Also, respect to Blackman who always gives the Toilets opposite an applause before kick-off. He put in a great shift and cause Ebbsfleet all sought a of problems out wide.

10/10 performance!

I know it's being dealt with - but the toilets situation was totally unacceptable
we do have a duty of care as a Club to fans (and we should apologies to Ebbsfleet Utd)
and it's not just because for once men have to que for the toilets

What would you like to see changed?

In the car park maybe, probably not a short term fix but you could put a door in the wall behind the gypsy Hill bar and have a toilets enclosure.

Also need some proper urinals to speed up the process, queueing for normal portaloos is really inefficient

Perhaps two or three of these in any space, or swap for portaloos?

Them kinda urinals ideally need to be behind additional fencing if that makes sense, otherwise willlies might be seen by adults and kids not wanting to see them. Difficult to achieve on the current ground footprint.

If the club can't provide sufficient facilities for people to go to the toilet they really should reduce the capacity.

Greast performance by Dulwich from the highlights. Ebbsfleet are a decent team but torn apart here.

I didn't realise Darren McQueen had ended up at Dulwich- a cracking wee player, just never quite worked out for him at D&R.

It was a much more even game than those highlights suggest. For example they had a cracking long range effort hit the post too which didn't make the highlights.

But it was absolutely a great performance from us. We've been playing really well for a few weeks.
