Do you actually wear the Jeremey Scott trainers outside Frances Lengel? I have some of the gold ones with wings, but I always feel too shy to wear them outside. It drives my husband crazy.

No, I feel a bit of a wanker now & more than a bit of a let down but do I eckers like wear stuff like that. I only posted them for a laugh. Sorry yu gi oh :(

I went to primark and got some dull stuff. Black cardigan with long sleeves as nothing I own has full length sleeves and some christmassy loungewear.

It's not got flashing lights and bells n stuff. :D
If you want dull, you should see some of the nightshirts I've recently turfed out. In fact, you should count yourself lucky that you haven't seen them.

Far too late in the day, I cut some new "cycle clips" from holey black socks - i.e. they now actually match my combats.
I think it was because I'd only had a year out of the black ones and was in denial that they would never get darned.

The effect is a bit like jodhpurs ... :hmm:

Major turf out of rags in the recycling come Monday.

1940s party dress - really pleased with this. It's in quite good condition considering it's so old, and is mesh with embellishments on the top. It's so beautiful. And was a third of the price of similar "vintage-style" dresses in Miss Selfridge or similar.
Vintage gold and silver sandals - £15
Second hand black Sportsmax short-sleeved jumper with silver thread - £15

Need pic of dress pls.

Crush velvet leggings have arrived. More beautiful than I could have imagined.

The dress, however, doesn't suit me at all :/

Unpick the old one, tack in the new one. Sew ;)
I think part of the problem is that it really is a very nice dress, it wouldn't be easy to find another one like it, and if it's the first time you're doing that particular repair or alteration it's daunting. BTW I'm not volunteering as I'm not that confident with zips.
