decent pension / guest house in Barcelona?

Me and my g/f are off to France next month and then heading down the coast for a few days in Barcelona.

Anybody know a good quality guest house or cheapish hotel in Barcelona?

Nothing grotty though and neighbourhood is not that important but would like to be pretty central. Last time I stayed there I was in the bario gotic which had a great vibe to it.
