Incredible offer for such an advanced engine with updates and full support, you even get the renderer which was used for Ryse: Son of Rome. I wonder how they expect to make money form such a low price, apparently there are no royalties payable to Crytek, the subscription is all that is required. I am just playing Crysis 3, and some of the graphics and effects are sublime.

most big companies who would make use of it will already have paid. now they're just mopping up.

they might be releasing a new version so thought might as well grab a few quid from the old?

lots of engines go open source. don't know how they make money...
