Thought there'd be a thread already.

New 90 minute drama by Jimmy McGovern shown tonight (hopefully on iPlayer for those that missed it) about joint enterprise. A group of lads get charged with murder following an incident where someone gets stabbed.

Good cast and performances, well mixed drama and realism I thought. At the end there were a few real people speaking with family members serving time for JE, generally speaking young people who've been in groups in the wrong place at the wrong time. Seems to be a few other programmes on about it this week.

Was a fantastic piece of drama McGovern really makes excellent television. I will definitely watch the corresponding programmes linked in with this am interested in learning more about joint enterprise.

Wikipedia says it was brought about following a cart race, which I think I've heard referred to when there was apiece on the radio.
