Cheap Handheld Console

Not a Switch, unless anyone knows selling them for under £100. I know there are all sorts of devices you can install ROMs on and that'd be ideal, something which covers as many platforms as possible. For my little niece so she won't much care either way but figure it'd be best to get something where she can have a lot of choice without spending. Any ideas?

how about a DS or a Wii u if you can find one cheap

both you can play roms on

You can definitely get a DS for well under a hundred, and the games are cheap now too.

Get a DS and homebrew it. My neice has a sd card with something like 700 games on.

Yeah DS's are good so I'll echo that.

DS is a great shout; especially if you pack a load of games on an SD.

I've also really enjoyed installing snes9x, MyBoy, etc. on my phone. I bought an 8bitDo SN30Pro with a phone clip for my android device, and I can now play Legend of Zelda Link to the Past, Earthbound, a ton of other things on my commute. I've even got ScummVM working to play some of the classic LucasArts adventure games on it.

If you're into retro games I recommend it.
