Must admit, I started zoning out when he started going on about the Flux Capacitor, though.

Actually, I surprisingly understood about 90% of it, which bearing in mind I don't code, is not bad. Great to see under the hood of the creative/tech process. I can't imagine any other potentially multi-billion dollar operation being discussed so candidly. He comes across as a really infectious personality.

I love listening to Carmack talk, which is convenient because he loves to talk too. If they didn't have someone off stage making the throat-finger gesture you just know he'd talk until sunrise

Very smart and engaging man. His twitter is excellent, even if you're not a coder.
