Canon has just slapped down a replacement to the popular S95 enthusiast compact. There's GPS if you want it, a wider zoom range (with a distinctively Stygian f5.9 aperture at full zoom) and poimntlessly increased MP count to 12MP.
I can't say there's anything to tempt me away from the LX5 here, but it's clearly a capable camera.
