can anyone be arsed to vote in the Daily Mails' Still Support the Students" poll ?

if you use several different browsers, it seems to allow you to vote more than once. although god knows why you'd want to.

voted - lol at the comments saying they're all

anarchist vermin, not real students yobbo scum & worse than animals, & members of the Socialist Workers Party who are trying/about to destroy the country with mob rule and bring in Marxist fascism, who should all be deported, birched, sent to Afghanistan, kicked out of Uni, banned from protesting, attacked with water hoses, shot with rubber bullets and shot with real bullets. Oh & it's all New Liebore's fault. (of cause:facepalm: )

The 60% in a rag like the fail ,when you consider their readership

No suprise to anyone surely??????

The Mail has always been in favour of subsidising Higher Education. And its Middle Class readers will not be pleased about the prospects of having to fork out more for the privellege of H/E for the offspring and the Upper Classes who many of them look up to will all have to pay more as well.
The Mail at the moment will be supporting the coalition preety unreservedly but it wont be pleased about this policy.

Think it has rather more to do with being tweeted to the relevant #tags on Twitter, and by Mark Thomas.

Yeah but the poll isn't asking about the fees hike, it's asking if you support the students, on the tail of an article about the disgusting and outrageous violence.

A lot of Mail readers will be very angry about the rise. Some of them will have kids who attended the protests and be influenced by them. At first the policing of the protests was quite gentle and restrained but obviously that changed and Mail readers might not mind protesters being whacked but a bit different when its your own kid eh?
