Burning Pink

I read on WIkipedia that they launched by steering trolleys full of food out of a Sainsburys and not paying for it.
That is pretty good tbf. Sure I can remember some discussions about doing that like the cool Italians would around the time of the 2008 crash (was it something Bone pushed maybe?) but not sure anyone actually got around to doing it back then.

I posted about it on the "guardian going down the pan" thread just now - the guy who sprayed the offices pink got arrested (obviously, he hung around waiting for the fuzz) but they also raided his house, then arrested Valerie Brown, the Burning Pink mayoral candidate whose campaign he worked for.

I mean yes it is political. The govt have been increasingly aggressive about XR and associated groups, and of course the met are doing what they're told.

I don't think the met needed much telling

Yeh there's no one i'd trust less with a firearms unit
See, this is where we display our lack of specialist knowledge. The average civilian might think that a firearms unit should maybe not kill innocent people during an attempt to look hard for a government agenda. However, Dame Cressida clearly appreciates that the agenda part is far more significant than shooting innocent people several times in the face, hence her promotion and dameification.
